We are at a crossroads in history. We have moved into the Age of Aquarius, a time of awakening and understanding. This is the time when we as human beings begin to recognize our combined potential. Our labors during the Age of Pisces have begun to bear fruit, and now we are ready for change.

During the latter part of the last millennium, as the Dark Ages grew more and more distant, our core selves progressed into a higher vibration. Self-awareness, education and the thirst for discovery slowly began to correct the wrongs brought on by illiteracy and fear. Now we are collectively more capable than ever of accepting and managing energies, such as Moldavite healing crystals, which emit higher frequencies.

The universe has been waiting with cosmic patience for our progression. History and legend shows this to be true.

Moldavite was thought to have fallen to Earth during a cosmic meteor shower some 15 million years ago. In ancient Asian chronicles, the crystal was said to have come from the Sirius star system.

Nicholas Roerich, a Russian explorer, artist and mystic who traversed the regions of Asia during the 1920s and 30s, was said to have come into possession of a “magical crystal from another world”, known as the Chintamani Crystal. The crystal, thought to have had magical properties, is believed to have been Moldavite, and was once a talisman of Tazlavoo, the one-time Emperor of Atlantis.

Legend has it that this same crystal was sent to King Solomon in Israel who then split the crystal and made a ring out of one piece. The other pieces are thought to have been sent to a monastery in Tibet. Centuries later, it is said that Mohammed took three pieces to Mecca.

Roerich theorized that the Moldavite crystal is charged with Shugs, currents of psychic force. He speculated it resembled an electrical accumulator and may give back, in one way or another, the energy stored within it. For instance, it will increase the spiritual vitality of anyone who touches it, infusing the person with knowledge, or enhancing healing abilities.

In Western folklore, one of the jewels on the hilt of the sword Excaliber is thought to be Moldavite. The Moldavite Crystal has also been referred as “The Philosopher’s Stone”, the key to turning focused thoughts into reality. It has been known to help unite the various factions of the self: Fire and water, Hermes and Aphrodite (the masculine and feminine) and the opposing dogs at war within.

In Alchemy it is said that the way to mastery is through transmutation; the aligning of the self before the physical. A student of alchemy must first bring the shifting and often conflicting polarities within them into balance. Only then can a Master truly influence the material world.

Through the use of a Moldavite crystal a student can divine their way to the “Magnum Opus” (Master Work), the reason for existence which only the soul truly knows.

In the modern day, Western practitioners of the Chinese form of healing meditation known as Qigong, use Moldavite crystals to substantially increase the flow of energy from the cosmos and Earth into their personal energy field. The ability to heal themselves and others through the use of Qigong increased dramatically. Similar results have been discovered in the use of Reiki, the Japanese healing form of energy distribution through the laying of hands.

As we increase our sensitivity to higher frequencies, such as Moldavite crystals, we increase our awareness of what is possible.
